QRI

The QRI, or Qualitative Reading Inventory, is an informal assessment instrument used by teachers to measure word identification, fluency, and comprehension. Packaged in a spiral bound book, the QRI contains narrative and expository passages to assess oral reading, silent reading, and listening comprehension. The graded word lists provide teachers with information about how students attack words and what they know about sounds and letters.
